Direction from eastern Taiwan westbound

Take Route 8, Central Cross-Island Highway to Da Yu Ridge. Turn left onto Route 14A towards Puli. Pass the Center of Taiwan Monument(the Geographic Center Stela) in Puli, go straight on Sinyi Road. Turn right at Sian Road for 7 kilometers. Turn left at Yongfong Road to Chung Tai Chan Monastery.
