Over 90 Zen (Chan) meditation centers have been established in Taiwan. Zen centers have also been established in the United States, Austria, Australia, Japan, the Philippines, Hong Kong and Thailand. Each branch monastery or Zen center is supported by lay volunteers forming a Dharma Support Association.
