精舍介绍－

　　“人身难得，佛法难闻，大善知识难遇。”以天主教为主的菲律宾地区，欲听闻佛法实属不易。为了让更多人能亲近正法，开山方丈　上惟下觉大和尚特于首都马尼拉成立“海天禅寺”，提供当地居民一处修习佛法、禅修静坐的清凉地。

　　海天禅寺座落在交通便利、气候温和，有“小碧瑶”之称的青山区。五层楼高的独栋建筑，宽敞明亮、清净素雅，禅堂与讲堂均可容纳上百人禅修礼忏、听经闻法。自二○○二年成立以来，即积极开办各级中文禅修班、英文禅修班、梵呗班、儿童暑期禅修夏令营等课程，并定期举行礼忏、共修等法会，希望将菩提种子深植于每个人的心中。

　　现任住持见庸法师，于中台女众佛教学院研究所结业后，秉承　导师悲愿弘法利生，以“中台四箴行──敬、慈、和、真”为弘法基础，透过多元的方式，引导大众深入佛法堂奥，净化心灵，找到生命的真正价值与意义。

禅修班报名须知：
■报名资格：身心健康，对静坐、佛法有兴趣者。禅修课程完全免费，欢迎随喜发心。
　　　　　　All classes are free of charge and open to the public.
　　　　　　We are supported by your generous donations.
■服装：请着居士服及袜子上课。
　Dress Code：Wear comfortable and yet modest attire and sock.
　　　　　　 Optional meditation clothing may be obtained at the monastery.
■报名方式：请带 1ｘ1 半身照片一张，亲至海天禅寺报名。
　Registration：Come & bring (1X1) picture to register.
■请勿带宠物、荤食及酒精食品进入禅寺。
　Please no smoking, alcohol or pets on the premise.
　The monastery is open daily. Please feel free to call for questions.
